"Just for the record, the weather today is calm and sunny, but the air is full of bullshit."
— Chuck Palahniuk.
"What does not break you down, makes you stronger."
- Unknown (but typical Swedish quote)?
My blogg about all random stuff. Mostly about what use to be my daily life in a relatioship with an alcoholic and all the ups and downs in life and how to cope with an addict. But mostly about the light side of life and how to manage to go forward - and the happiness and joy that comes with it. Now, its more about moving forward and taking the next step. Day by day. Forgetting the past and thinking about the future.

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
Just for the record; it's not life thats´cause us pain, pain in life is unavoidable. Life consist of pain, suffering, misfortunes and losses, but it's what we do to ourselves that makes us suffer. Not life itself. It's how we decide to meet those challenges and losses that will determine weather we choose to suffer or not, or fight back and become stronger. It's about which people we choose to surround us with. Ask yourself; do you really need this person in your life? Does this person makes your life happier or miserable? Does this person makes you stronger or does this person fight you back? Or break you down? You choose to surround yourself with certain types of people. Therefore, life and pain can be inevitable, but suffering is not. Suffering is and can be optional. It's up to you and it's your choice. Pain is inevitable, suffering is not.
